1. HOW TO GET TO SINGAPORE

There are numerous airports across the Philippines where you can begin your journey, depending on your location. Since we are based in Mindanao, our options were Francisco Bangoy International Airport in Davao or Mactan-Cebu International Airport in Cebu. We chose to start our trip to Singapore via Mactan-Cebu International Airport with Cebu Pacific.

3. TRANSPORTATION METHOD

Singapore offers a well-connected and efficient transportation system. We mainly used the MRT (train), known for its reliability and convenience. For destinations not accessible by train, we took taxis, which provided a comfortable and hassle-free ride.

4. MODE OF PAYMENT

Singapore offers various payment options for convenience. You can use your GCash Card to pay for train and bus rides. However, most hawker centers accept only cash, so it's best to carry some with you. Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in malls, restaurants, and tourist attractions.

5. WHERE WE STAYED

We chose to stay at Arena Esports Hotel because of its excellent location. It’s right next to Bugis Market, making it easy to shop for pasalubong. The hotel is also close to an MRT station, with a Jollibee conveniently located just below.

Singapore offers a seamless travel experience with its efficient transportation, diverse payment options, and exciting attractions. From iconic landmarks to vibrant shopping spots, every corner has something to explore. With convenient accommodations and easy access to delicious food, our trip was both enjoyable and hassle-free.

Starlink Philippines: Price, Speed, Coverage, and Comparison vs PLDT & Globe

๐ŸŒ What Is Starlink ? Starlink is a high-speed internet service powered by SpaceX (Elon Musk’s space company) that uses satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) to beam internet directly to your home or location — no cables, no fiber lines needed.  Unlike traditional satellite internet (which suffers from high latency and slow speeds), Starlink uses thousands of small satellites closer to Earth to deliver faster speeds and lower delay .  ๐Ÿ“ก Can Starlink Work in Very Remote Areas? Yes — this is where Starlink shines. Because Starlink doesn’t need fiber cables, it can provide internet to mountain provinces, islands, upland barangays, and other underserved areas that traditional ISPs (like PLDT or Globe) don’t reach. Many users in rural Philippines report stable connectivity where 3G/4G and fiber never reached.  The key requirement is a clear view of the sky so the dish can “see” satellites — concrete walls, trees, or tall buildings can block the signal.  ๐Ÿ’ธ How Much Doe...
